The kinds and manufacturer types of resources can be freely defined. The resources can be owned by different parties, can be treated as public or private, and if public can be leased to other parties. They can be described with textual and rich multimedia information – geographical and topological maps, schemes and plans, pictures, manuals, videos, questionnaires. The technical surveys can be performed against resources with surveys freely defined. The services provide for managing resource classes and types, managing resource instances data, defining and conducting technical surveys, managing the life cycle of the resource, and leasing of resources.
